Yes. You must know what you are going to do and write the right assembler code. These modified interrupts are of course then no longer supported from the interpreter. Also it is a clumsy solution, because with every recompile you have to check where the assembler routines are, and then patch the vectors at the beginning of the interpreter to the addresses.
